The manual says the ST-8000 is low voltage in/out only. Evidently the LP-1200 includes level converters as well as a loop supply.

Steve, as long as there is one current supply somewhere in the loop you just connect up everything in series. I don’t have my 8000 in front of me but if you need more help, I can dig it out.

Using a HAL ST-8000 here for my RTTY ops, question since I don’t have the HAL mentioned LP1200 how would I drive say a Model 28 printer (which I believe has a loop supply built in) or something like a Kleinschmidt TT-76 which also has a loop supply.
In other words if I have a loop supply how do I switch / control it with the HAL St-8000.
Thanks,
Steve
