Subject: [Army-Radios] Mil-Std RTTY Test This Saturday, 22 August


There has been some interest to start a military RTTY net using mil-std equipment and specifications. This Saturday, August 22, 2020 we will be transmitting a RTTY test on 7.080 +/- at 9:30 EDT.  No response is necessary as it’s a test to see who can copy the transmission.  The transmit, mil-std, specifications are;

USB, Baudot, 850 Hz shift, 2000 Hz Center, 2425 Hz Space, 1575 Hz Mark, 1 Stop Bit, 61.3 WPM, 45.5 Baud, 22 ms Symbol Rate, 368 OPM.



Receive reports can be reported here or on the MMRCA net.
