[GreenKeys] Mystery Teletype...

Hi all!

I suspect the typing unit in this foto is a very early
M33, which has been retrofitted into a M37RO cabinet...

If one looks very closely on the foto that shows most of the typing unit,
on the extreme right hand side just behind and below the carriage
rail hold-down bracket with pulley, on a magnified view,
I cud just barely make out the top edge of a foil sticker
which tells (In the early model 32/33 typing units),
what type of printer unit it is...

This sticker is factory applied to a portion of the printer casting
in a vertical position...

This sticker was not on mid to late design typing units,
this rules out it being a M38 typing unit...

Looks like it was a good retrofit of a 33, but don’t think Teletype
fabricated this, as the printing unit is just too early a version
to match the cabinet/enclosure...

Just an educated guess, any seconders?

Cheers!

Ken
