[GreenKeys] Rectifier voltage question...

If I were you I’d replace that diode with a silicon diode.  Seleniums were
never very good and when they get old they can produce small amounts of
toxic gas (as well as lots of ripple).

In other collector communities (radio, jukebox) replacing them with modern
diodes is not considered sacrilege.   Often the diodes are left in place
mechanically but discretely bypassed with a new diode.
