[GreenKeys] 6AC7 tubes?

The 6AK5 and 717 are both pretty "hot" tubes and the 6AK5 with it's
short leads works well into the UHF region. The 717 is fine up to about
150MC., where lead lengths become a problem. I think the 6AC7 is good
to maybe 50MC., but for an FM 10.7 or vintage television 21MC. IF, it
did a great job for the time. Soon, 6AG5 or 6CB6 miniature tubes had
replaced it, and they easily worked for 45MC. television IF , as well
as the RF amp and mixers in FM and television receivers.
