[GreenKeys] Sprocket feed paper

Ralph, I'm on trip and will be back home on the 10th.
Common sprocket feed used on dot matrix printers in the last century, is 9.5 wide with sprocket hole 9" apart. When you rip the edges you get 8.5" wide X 11" long sheets. Strangely I still have some of that. Seems it outlasted the printer.
Older version for teletype and other antiques is 8.5" wide with sprocket holes 8.0" apart and generally did not have tear off edges.

Copied to list in case my memory has failed me on the details.

The TTY does not function (in the time domain) like the selector magnets received 14 space chars. So far it's always been 14 characters, but I haven't done a lot of testing with that to confirm. I'll try that later today. I do know that the right side cable wheel on the front of the typing unit has some flanges that stick out on the front of it about 1/4 inch, like it might be for tab stops, but I don't see an actuator that would engage or stop based on the position of those flanges. I should probably open the housing cover and watch it as I send it some ampersand characters, to see if I can understand the operation of the tabbing function.
