Do you ever ride elevators or escalators? If so, keep in mind the
mangement (NOT a mis-spelling!) overseeing and commanding the
technicians is usually carefully chosen from those who have had NO
experience in the craft. Profit is ALL that matters, knowledge of the
craft can lead to ethics which is utterly unacceptable. I can't imagine
any sort of precision electro-mechanical craft surviving today under
that kind of system.
