Yes, you're right, Wayne - when I went home last night and looked at it again I realized that area is more accessible from the front than I thought.
My hope/plan is that I can fix this minor issue then toy around with the 33 a little. I have an RS-232 adapter for it. Longer-term I plan to do some restorative work on it. Mostly cleaning, although it doesn't seem to be too bad.
So before I plug it in I'm going to replace the hammer. I already turned the motor over by hand and other than the signal bell pawl issue I don't see any problems.
Do you (or anyone) have any other "must-do" advice for first-time start-up after sitting for years?
Are there some super critical lube points I should check to make sure they're not dry, for example?
