There are as near as I can tell two basic keyboards. The mark II and
Mark III. (what happened to mark I?). For the part under discussion,
you can identify mark II vs the mark III by where the screws go that
attach the clear plastic cover that goes over the labels on each side.
Mark II has one screw at the upper corner. The mark III has 2 on each
side that are square with a nylon insert. The one in the picture is for
a mark II keyboard.
When you start adding switches to the right side (and maybe left too?)
of the keys, then the parts bulletin gets all confusing to me.
I have one of each. I think the mark II is the only one that has the U
shaped "handle" that goes over the top of the signal generator. I call
it a handle because people tend to grab and carry the keyboard with it.
