I really don't need to know at the moment how to determine which separator goes with what model keyboard - but I like to know because there is still one 28 in my workshop waiting for some keyboard attention (most likely a winter project, no AC in my shop).

Yes, there were many variations in the placement of different mods on the 28 Kbd.
