[GreenKeys] Basic autostart question

Folks,
My Creed7B has a timer on. There is a little worm drive that winds up a
slotted weight when the machine is idle. A toggle switch lever fits through
the slot which switches the motor off as the weight is lifted.
When a start bit operates the magnet, the weight is dropped, and the switch
is closed and the motor starts. Yes you may loose a first character, but it
needs no input from any TNC.
