Update: I spent some time emailing back and forth with the seller. Seems like a nice guy.

I inquired about the repeater and the reperf. I have since purchased the repeater. 

I am very worried if the reperf could be safely shipped by someone who does not know what he is doing. He offered to have it packed professionally by Fedex, which was a nice offer. Doing so would cost about $98 for packing and shipping. Well, that plus the $75 was a bit too rich for me because I still envision it arriving in bad shape. Even if FedEx packs it, do they know how to secure it or will the just wrap the whole thing as is and it ends up rattling around in the case and breaking things? Heavy boxes often fall (or are dropped), and sometimes they fall upside down. 

Or does it arrive full of packing peanuts (that’s happened plenty of times to me)?

So I passed (for now) on the reperf even though I’d like to have it. Just a bit too expensive and a bit too risky for me. If I were local I’d pick it up for $75. But $173 is too steep given the risk of shipping.
