Yes, $150 seems high, but if its what you want & included delivery, not 
too bad!

Are you familiar with the Kleinschmidt line? They were the main supplier 
of TTYs to the US Army & USAF from 1950 into the 1980s.

Your TT-483 may have a built-in loop supply. If it is there, it will be 
under the paper roll. There is a selector switch in the rear left 
corner. Put it in "TEST" for local operation with the internal loop supply.

Although they probably were not engaged, there are a couple of shipping 
latches that must be disengaged before operation. See TM 11-5815-200-12
