Are your numbers correct John? It seems like the number of teeth for 7.42
would be between the number of teeth for 7.00 and 7.50. Or am I just not
understanding the gearing?

Count the teeth on the keyboard gear.

24 teeth - 7.42
28 teeth - 7.00
30 teeth - 7.50
