I don't know the details of my keyboard (how to tell it is parity or not),
but I used 7E2 successfully to connect from a simulated DECSYSTEM-20 via a
DECserver 90M in reverse telnet configuration and a Westermo MA-21. The port
on the DECserver 90M is set to 7E2. Not sure if that helps.
Regards
Rob

Subject: [GreenKeys] Serial Settings
Hi Greenkeys,
I have a 33 set up to communicate over RS-232 serial. I've read online some
conflicting info regarding serial settings.
Does it boil down to parity vs. non-parity keyboard?
So parity keyboard would be 7E2 and non-parity 8N2? (my keyboard is
non-parity)
I'm having some issues with CR/LF too, but I'm not sure what to expect
regarding the interaction between the 33 and the terminal program I'm using.
Any tips, anecdotes from Greenkeyers who have explored this appreciated.
Ken
