[GreenKeys] Ribbons that don't dry out?

I once tried the WD40 trick on a Calculagraph ribbon.  The ribbon worked 
great for a few hours and then the next day the ribbon was drier than it 
had been before the WD40 treatment and was totally unusable.

Your mileage may vary.
