[GreenKeys] Ribbons that don't dry out?

One "trick" we have used with dried out TTY and dot matrix ribbons over the
years is to put it into a ziplock bag with a shot of WD-40 and let it sit
for a few days. Probably the only good use for WD-40... (... and now I
duck for cover...) .... ;-)

Subject: [GreenKeys] Ribbons that don't dry out?

I have two model 33's that see very occasional use. So the ribbons always
seem to be dried out when I want to play with them, especially on the outer
few turns that are exposed to air and room light.

Is there any type of ribbon that has some kind of dry-transfer ink? Or is
the only cure to seal it in a plastic bag with one's favorite re-activation
potion...
thanks
Charles
