Just an old habit I got into  a while back.

If I want to suggest a certain store, I would say "The store with the orange sign" Home Depot.
"Ball and a circle"  Target
The store with the big "R" Radio Shack.
Etc
I think it stems from when mentioning a certain store or brand was frowned upon-or banned--perhaps not in GKs, but other lists as well.
