So I got a Underwood type ribbon on eBay. I check with the
seller that it had the reverse buttons on it.

I put it on my 28-KSR.

The "new" type of spools ARE NOT Teletype friendly.

o They have a large opening on the top which allows the spool
   to bounce up and down because the little locking click
   is partially inside the hole.

o It was easy enough to switch out the take-up spool with one
   of my metal ones, but now I have to wind it onto the old
   supply spool by hand.
