Except that it doesn't work.
The ONE thing that DOES work for dealing with rusted stuff is
Kroil. Despite all the old wives' tales about ATF and <pick one>
Kroil really is #1 and it does exactly what it says it will do.
Last month I decided to fix the mortised door latch on my front
door. The house was built in 1935. As expected the two screws
holding the mortise together were frozen solid. A spritz of Kroil
a few minutes to let it soak in and they unscrewed without any
effort.
