[GreenKeys] power transformer

I have bought some items from China, and some China items sold by people and companies in the US. Some very good for the price, and some almost junk.

Bought 2 of the quad band transceivers and they both lasted about a year. Bought different brands of the handy talkies, both have been good for several years and still are.

Seems that most of the real junk is the solid state parts. Those I stay away from.

Thanks to all for the advice on the transformer. I think I am going to wait for a hamfest coming up on Labor Day. The shipping on many of them is about what the transformers cost. I have several other projects in waiting to keep busy to then.

After over 80 purchases of Chinese electronics during the last decade I have, so far, experienced no problems with them... just not saying it can't happen...
