GM OMs;

It's was the '70's.

I was working in a factory doing work for the military. We were building
the famous MD-522 MODEMs. We also had all sorts of Teletype stuff
including BRPE and DRPE take punches. They could produce A LOT OF CHAD!

I don't remember WHY, but me and one of the guys had a problem with
one of the workers in a well-known fast food joint. One of the worker's
jobs was to sweep the parking lot.

I brought home a hefty-sized trash bag that was FULL of chad.

We dumped it in the middle of the parking lot and then proceeded to
"patch out" while driving over it.

Then we parked on the street - and waited.

When our nemesis came out to sweep the parking lot - and tried to
sweep up the chad, well - you know how well that worked.

Yeah, I REPENT for doing such a thing (now) but (back then) it was funny.

Years later I went back to the place for lunch, and there were still
a few chads stuck in the blacktop.

I wanted to find out just how much the Earth weighs
so I went into the bathroom and turned the scale
up-side-down. BAD PLAN: the scale was crushed beyond
recognition. I'm not strong enough to lift the
Earth off of it, so now I'm stuck with a paper-thin
scale on my bathroom floor. - Tony J. Podrasky
