The TT-4*/TG only came with a series-governed motor (and no loop supply 
- so no xfmr) and had a voltage requirement of: "105 to 125 dc or ac 
(50-60 Hz, single phase)"

If the motor would operate on DC and also 50-60Hz AC, I can't see why it 
would not work on 25Hz (but then I'm not big on motor design)
