Domain names themselves are case-insensitive, but everything after the
domain name is most certainly case-sensitive. Compare these for example:

Works:
https://www.google.com/maps
https://WWW.GOOGLE.COM/maps

Doesn't work:
https://www.google.com/MAPS
https://WWW.GOOGLE.COM/MAPS


Hope this helps to clear up any confusion.
