[GreenKeys] Model 28. When a key is pressed, it prints multiple times

Hi Nick
It is the clutch closest to the keyboard
When the issue occurs, I can see this clutch go around several times Then
The clutch stop lever catches the stop
Weird thing is that it doesn’t print out the letter more than once. It looks like it just goes in and out of figs mode. Only one letter is printed and the position of the “cursor” on the paper doesn’t advance either
The problem happens most often when the FIGS button is pressed or when typing numbers ( which requires the Figs button to be engaged)
I sincerely apologize to everyone on the list. I know my nomenclature of the teletype parts/conditions are ridiculous. I am totally new to these things and I am self taught. Just trying to learn about teletypes.
I realize that I sound like the guy who goes to the mechanic and tries to recreate the sound that the car makes when there is trouble. Bare with me please.
Long story short. Seems like the issue occurs most often when the FIGS button is involved.
Thanks
Tom
