[GreenKeys] AP "Top Stories" gone?

Ok I was just looking around for some other options too. There is a service
at https://newsapi.org which provides various headlines and news sources via
an API and is free for non-commercial use, so I wrote up a half-assed python
client for it which works ok for me:
https://github.com/epvuc/loop-gateway/blob/master/apinews.py
This outputs to standard output so if you have a way of sending that to the
teletype it should "just work."
If you're using my "loop-gateway" software (is anyone?), you can add to cmds in
ser.py like:
'$news': { 'cmd': '/opt/ttycommands/apinews.py', 'stdin': False, 'args': False },
and run "$NEWS" on the tty to run it.
In heavymetal I think you can add a line to heavymetal.cfg like:
-CommandCustom.NEWS=$EVAL `/opt/HeavyMetal/apinews.py`
(of course this works for any news feed program, not just this crappy one I
just wrote)
The actual AP URLs Jordan posted earlier do work for me but only return 5 headlines
which is sort of a bummer, plus they may cease to work at any time.
