[GreenKeys] RATTS NET on 80m

Re the Ratts Net.   After more than 30 years of RTTY 60 wpm 
operation on the 80m band and fighting with ever increasing local noise and poor propagation
it was decided between the folks checking in, to try some modern digital
data modes for running the net.  

Those folks are:
VE6ATY
VE6XMB
VE7BDQ
WA7BTJ
KG7ZA
K6QOG
AG7FY

We settled on the Olivia 16-1000 mode centered on 3598.000 kHz upper sideband
as this combination gave operational speeds of about 45wpm, close to the rtty
speed so running through the checkins did not take much longer. Using 100watts
gives good copy even when the band propagation is terrible.

We still meet each weekday night at 8pm local pacific time
Still a informal social net.
