[GreenKeys] Avarda ITTY Feed / StayShift-On-Space

Paul, Tony, et al

It seems to me that the "Unshift on Space" thing is easily programmable in the Model 28 family.
Not certain of the procedure. It might be 'parts juggling' or parts added in certain places.

However, the down side of Unshift on Space is the situation where the sender is sending groups
of things in UC and dutifully puts spaces between groups but NOT a FIGS character to assure
that UC things arrive on paper in UC.

I'll never forget my first encounter with someone who had Unshift on Space on his Model 15 and
didn't know any different. I kept getting things in UC since my Model 19 didn't have USOS
set up. After about six exchanges, I got tired of mentally 'translating' things and signed with'
him. Not his fault, initially, since he didn't know the difference, but was not willing to do
his sending to accommodate others.

I discovered that a firm 'rap' downward on the paper crank would put the machine back into LC,
but that, too, got tiresome. (And probably not good for the machinery on a continuing basis.)

73,

Ralph
