I bought it for the AWA Museum

I didn't realize that Morkrum had their own code, but there were a lot 
of variations used in the early days until, in the 1920s, there was an 
international agreement on standard codes: ITA1 and ITA2.

ITA1 was Baudot's code, which was arranged for ease of learning - 
originally, you had to know the code and enter it on a 5-key keyboard. 
Only tape printers were used and there was no LF or CR. It was a 
synchronous code and was typically used with TDM

ITA2  is what we use normally and is close to the "Murray Code". Donald 
Murray designed it for minimal wear on the machinery and added LF & CR.
