[GreenKeys] Jack Hart and i-Telex...

Hi Folks

It can be done.
I'm presently in the final stages of testing the i-telex part of my gentex
simulator. This simulator uses a RS232 <> 40 mA (or 60 or 20) currentloop
converter, and a connection to the i-Telex system.
It uses a standard Windows PC, and runs on anything with a Pentium and a
speed of 200 MHz or more.
Have not tried on a 486, but there might be a speed issue.
The only special thing, is an extra card with COM ports, because of the 50
BPS speed. Most PC's dont support that 'speed'

The simulator can be used as a single-user i-telex system, but it also has
many other features, with some in development, e.g. listening in (and
decoding) on encrypted messages.
In my test system, I support 8 teletypes of various speeds and character
sets, as everything, apart from the RS232-currentloop conversion is done in
software (Delphi 6)
Those interested are welcome to ask for an English manual (which still needs
to be proof-read and spell-checked).
So, here is the chance to put a 110 BPS machine on the i-telex network,
without any bother

73, Nico OZ1BMC
