[GreenKeys] Greenkeys in the January 2018 RTTY Roundup

As if that last message wasn't long winded enough, here I am back again!
Last one for today I promise.

 

There has been a lot of messages bouncing back and forth over the last few
months about some of us participating in the contest using our heavy metal
machines instead of just glass teletypes.

 

I am going to try to get on the air myself, but wondered if we couldn't get
together a list of us that are going to try to participate and then send our
banter outside of the Greenkeys list so that we aren't overwhelming the
non-hams amongst us.

 

While I have copied RTTY via the radio and my RTTY gear, I have never
transmitted, so I know I am going to have a lot of 'stupid' questions in the
next two months before the contest on January 6th & 7th, 2018.

 

As I stated earlier, I want to use a Flex 6000 Series radio, a Dovetron
MPC-1000R, a Model 28KSR, and a TT-76 for punching and sending CQ sequences
and whatever else I get tired of typing manually over and over. 

 

If you would rather respond of list, go right ahead as this may relieve the
others of a lot of garble.  :-)
