[GreenKeys] Great Teletype Fun in Georgia - photos

+1 :->.  What are those items displayed alongside the M14 printing perforator?

The one to the front looks like a glass bell with unknown contents.

The one to the rear is perhaps a compass-style galvanometer?

What is their relationship to the M14?

I had a fun time visiting Nick N0NCQ's and Steve N4TTY's teletype exhibits/demonstrations at the Lawrenceville GA Hamfest today. Those guys did a marvelous job and had lots of enthusiastic visitors discovering the joys of teletypery.
