Jerry says:
The last two sections (14, 15 and 20 selector adjustments and M15 Typing
unit adjustments) cover material that is handled in other manuals. What
makes these BSP sections different is the format they use. Teletype manual
138B (Model 15 Adjustments) has the written description of the requirement
and the adjustment procedure in the front section. Reference images for
each requirement are on fold out pages in the back of the book. The
constant page turning to read the requirement and then look at the image is
a pain in the butt. The manuals for the Model 28 and later machines have
the requirement, the adjustment procedure and the reference image all on
the same page. The format that is used for BSP sections 572-006-700 and
572-202-700 is very close to ideal. (The reader may have to go forward or
back a page or two to sync the requirement with the image.) Overall, I
think
it is a great improvement and makes the manual more user friendly.
