[GreenKeys] 28 reperf tape routing question

I have a miniature 28 reperf - the kind with the tape reel on top.
It has the slack tape mechanism (intermittent tape puller gadget) after the
tape comes off the reel and before it heads down the "chute" toward the
sprocket wheel etc.
Which way should the tape be threaded? Under the fixed post (193968) or
after the post?

All the diagrams I can find show the version with no slack tape mechanism.
