JB Weld is a trade name for a couple of different epoxy resin cements.
One is a metal reinforced type, i.e., it has powdered metal in it. That
is supposed to be the really strong one. I don't know how epoxy stands
up to vibration but high heat will melt it. Supposedly the metal
re-enforced type can be used to patch cracked engine blocks.
