Well, I'm not afraid to use my name and callsign, and I've been using 
email for something like over 40 years (ever since my University days, in 
fact).

Then again, I run my own mail server, have excellent spam defences, and am 
happy to provide free advice (hint: run your own domain and mail server; 
it doesn't cost all that much).

Some people take this "privacy" issue too far, to the point of being 
incredibly insecure; it makes we wonder why they even bother getting out 
of bed, in case they are seen or something.
