That's basically how I was able to put up and keep my antenna.
When you selectively enforce the CC&Rs, you run into trouble.
When I first got on the BOD, I mentioned to those on it about
the CC&Rs they were breaking, they white-washed over it.
Now, our time is spent making sure no one has beach towels
or toys on their balcony. I gotta admit that enforcing those
rules do keep our community looking pretty spiffy!
I visit A LOT of other communities who don't have/enforce the
balcony rules - and it looks pretty trashy because people use
their balcony like it is an outdoor garage: used tires, huge
bags full of cans, clothes, towels, ratty-looking chairs, etc.
