GM OMs;

I visited a friend (Ham) who was a Teletype repairman
at the phone company, back in New York.

They had a dish washer that they'd mount the typing unit in
and run the D-W through its cycle.

I don't remember if they used water or some other cleaner.

Maybe you could ask your wife if you can use your D-W to
clean the TTY.

OH - when you ask her, please post her reply: it's kinda
quiet on here this morning...  :-)
