A friend showed me his copy of "A First Electrical Book for Boys" by Alfred P. Morgan, 3rd edition (1963). I has pictures of a Western Union office operating table, a Model 28, and a Model 32. That author wrote a lot of hobbyist books, going back to "The Boy Electrician" of 1914.
