Hi

WU Strip printers were pretty common back in the 1960’s. At the time they were 
considered a “less desirable” alternative to a page printer. It’s really tough to
do RTTY art with a strip printer :). I believe that as a result of that “lack of 
respect”, most of them went to the dump rather than stayed around being used.
My first machine was a strip printer. I dumped it fast once a model 15 came
my way ...
