Well I'm back with additional Kleinsmidth TT-117A/FG issues I need help with. I do have the TM11-5815-244-12 I've downloaded with your help. I have my other Klein TT-483/ugc up and copying 60 WPM on the air.

This TT117A I knew would be a little harder. There is some rust but the whole thing has been Cleaned lubed and repaired BUT, the manual is a -12 and has not technical info. A -35 would tell me all but I guess I need to ask your help. I have 'ohmed' out the cabling running from the Amphnol 16 pin female on the rear to both the selector magnets on the left side, and the mark/space relay on the right side.

I am reading 416 ohms on magnet pins 6,7

I am reading 124 ohms between 1,4 and 5,8

I read 416 ohms between Amphnol pins 9,16

AND from Amphnol pins 4 and pin 14 and pin 13 to the mark space relay all three show 4.5 ohms each.

I have the plug-in interface module (P2 ?)without all the power supply junk as in the other machine. This module just has SIGNAL 20/60; BIAS 20/polar/60; two binding posts Bias test MA +- it does have the strap for shorting these two posts out.

The machine Does run open. I can cause the selector magnets to spit random charactors LF CR Bell will make noise but the magnets are not strapped for 60 ma and the keyboard is also free-running and non responsive to typing. I shop 50-60 ma from the ST=6. The interface does also have two TRS plugs marked send and rec. If someone can tell me the terminal board strapping inside the box the hook the Magnets for 60 ma and how to series them with the keyboard that would be great. It has been over 50 yrs since I worked on several Kleins. Most my time been Mos 15, 19, and mod 28. I will say that I suspect there to be some other issues but I'm concerned about shorting the HAL out and needing to fint the very rare pass transistor in PS.

Thanks for reading this long winded email. Hope I don't get kicked of this net. Al in Redding, CA
