[GreenKeys] Model 33 Progress

Well, after a bit of a letdown yesterday, today we are better than ever.  I did some reading in the manual and did my best to adjust the range finder properly, sort of. Wayne was kind enough to advise that my rangefinder is missing critical pieces (someone just secured the slider with a screw and washer).  Nonetheless, with a bit of fidgeting, it now types almost perfectly.  Initially it was missing on several characters, but as I kept typing and running the repeat key over and over again on bad keys, it started to type correctly.

 

Quite pleased as I did not expect to have any luck with that.  

 

I’m going to move on and figure out how to use the 60ma current loop it’s set up for with one of my computers to test it out that way.  

 

I’m also wondering – Wayne brought to my attention that my tape reader is missing its power supply (likely was in the now-discarded base).  Does anyone out there have one for a 33 they’d be willing to sell?
