[GreenKeys] Model 33 Progress

With Wayne's help (thanks Wayne!) I have made a tiny bit of progress with
this 33.  I got a good slow blow fuse and the motor runs properly now.
Initially hitting a key caused the striker to move about halfway and nothing
else.. the carriage did not move.  I removed the keyboard cover and checked
some stuck keys, lubricated where some needed it, and then we had numbers,
sort of.  Right now hitting any number produces either a 0 or an 8.  Hitting
shift produces a (.   I've been working on cleaning the contacts, and now
when the carriage is about halfway across, if I hit some of the lower letter
keys like N, B, etc.. after a few presses it will actually type something
(X) and then the carriage moves.

 

I've been trying to read the manual and understand the theory of operation a
bit better.  A lot of it is over my head - but I'm a logical person - I'm
sure there is a reason the carriage starts working for some letters at the
halfway mark.  Got to be a bad contact or something somewhere I would think.
Going to keep cleaning and learning as I go. :)
