Hi all!

All great ideas so far for Brad's seized motor fan to shaft
problem...Hopefully, he has had good progress in gtng it off...

On the subject of penetrants, not to go on and on abt this,
as it has had tons of previous discussions, I agree the
product known as "Kroil", made by Kano, is the ultimate
product...

I became familiar with this product many years ago,
when I was an apprentice Teletype technician trainee
back in 1967... " Kroil" was the only product we used...
Mainly for unfreezing clutch parts on the main shafts of
M14 & 15's...

Sadly, Kroil is very to find in Ontario, or in northern
New York State...It is available only thru internet suppliers...

Contrary to popular opinion(s), I have had great luck with
PB Blaster...

Liquid Wrench I wud say as an older product, used to be
a basic standard and worked well, but perhaps these days
it has become somewhat less effective for environmental
concerns etc...

The comment about the three mentioned products on the
Walmart shelves side by each is interesting and accurate,
however PB Blaster is always out of stock, leaving the many
cans of Liquid Wrench & WD-40 sitting undisturbed in the dust!

I fully agree with all those who have used/experienced
WD-40, it wud be a last to no choice...

I expect this missive to create a "Firestorm" of comments,
but it is all in good nature...

Here is a little comment from my 1929 McCormick Deering
model 10-20 tractor...His name is "Rusty"...

"I just love that PB Blaster"

For me, I should try it on my arthritic elbow, nothing else seems to work!

All in good fun!

Cheers!

Ken
