Brad,

While it was discussed, I don't recall if you mentioned whether or not you
had a Variac - or other power-limiting device? If so, just bypass the fuse
with a 10A AC Ammeter and see what happens when you start applying some
power.

Did the 'old' motor ever run for a second before taking the fuse? Did it
ever move at all?
