[GreenKeys] Model 33 motor problems

Hey guys,

 

I just got a motor and relay in the mail - thanks so much, Wayne (and hope
your money arrives soon)!

 

I still don't have the fuses but I thought I'd remove and inspect my
existing motor and compare to the 'new'.  There is definitely a difference.
Whereas the new one spins freely (and keeps spinning a while when you
manually spin it from the shaft), the other one, even with all the load off,
still is sticky and requires more force to turn.  It isn't seized but it
doesn't turn as freely as the other.  I'm guessing this is our culprit
possibly afterall.  

 

I'm just hunting an allan key to get the fan off the old motor and then I
can wire up and test.  I'm wondering - should I stick with my current relay
for now or try this new one Wayne was kind enough to send?
