[GreenKeys] Spacing problem on a model 15

What an interesting pattern. It seems that (on a given line) there are high
probabilities that it errs in the first few chars, then the few middle-line
chars, and then again for the final chars. Chars in the two, wide "clean"
ranges seem almost immune to the errors.

So here's a question - and we'll just focus on the end-of-line errors. When
it makes these errors, what exactly is going on:

 - Is the carriage failing to regularly advance, that is stalling, and
hence multi-striking?
 - Is the carriage advancing correctly, and then returning (partially) on
the same line to re-strike the given range?

It makes a big difference, as the two modes would seem to be distinct
failures. One mode might be called "sticky" (stalling) carriage, the other
might be called "stuttering" (oscillating) carriage.
