Hi all!

Tks Wayne for sharing the 32/33 motor & gear set info...

Hopefully, Julien has checked to verify his 33 has had the
motor & gear set replaced for 110 bd operation @ 110V...

Henning is exactly right, Teletype did not offer a 230V
motor unit for the 32/33 sets, and a 230V to 110V stepdown
Transformer was installed in the base pedestal...

When I set up the model 32ASR's for Africa, I tested them
with 50bd standard gearing & motor, then when satisfied
with testing etc., wud then install the modification to run
at 50hz...

Even at 50 hz, the motor wud run considerably hotter than
the 60hz version, hence the larger 3" fan and the special
fan shroud to improve cooling...

I was hoping Julien wud have found the Teletype I.D. tag
on the UCC so we wud know what it was originally...

I suspect it may have been one of the 'Computer control'
UCC's which had minimal hardware, electronics etc.
