I find that I have, in my files, a copy of
> Teletype Model 33 and 32
> Training Manual B-52
>
> Presented by the General Telephone Co. of Ohio
> and Teletype Corporation, a subsidiary of Western Electric
133 pages, total (most page numbers inserted by hand), undated.
This has two distinguishing features: First, it's clearer than the TTY maintenance manuals on many of the details of the machine, and second, it's full of little quips like these in the margins:
> Hindsight: the ability to
> see how a mistake
> looks from the rear
> Light travels at an
> amazing speed until it
> hits the human mind
> Lots of people know a
> good thing the minute
> the other fellow sees it
I've used Google, and it can't seem to find this manual on line. Does anyone know of an on-line archived copy of this manual? If not, does anyone who maintains an on-line manual archive want a copy? I'll pass on the PDF I have to anyone who wants it -- 4 Megabytes.
