I have a fold-down combination gumming work surface/copyholder
on a Model 14. I suspect this was an accessory for a small
office, where the same machine was used for both transmit
and receive. In a bigger WU office, you'd have a full gumming
desk as a receive station. WU built various pre-wired desks
for Teletype machines, power supplies, and and paper handling.
